President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Monday received here US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller, discussing bilateral relations as well as Yemen's updates.
During the meeting, President Hadi stressed his commitment to reach peace on the basis of the basic references which includes the GCC-brokered Initiative, the National Dialogue Conference's outcomes and the UN resolutions, particularly the resolution 2216.
He praised the US efforts supporting Yemen to overcome its challenges, put an end to the Houthi-Saleh coup, and fight extremism and all sorts of terrorism.
For his part, the US ambassador expressedefforts exerted by President Hadi for the sake of Yemen, pointing out that the US administration supports Yemen, its constitutional legitimacy and aspects of cooperation between Yemen and the United States in combating terrorism and extremism.
