A senior official said today the health situation in Abyan province is assuring after a visit he paid to a main hospital where watery diarrhea patients are receiving treatment.
Ali al-Waleedi, deputy health minister for primary health was calming down fears after the province reported the emergence of the disease known as cholera.
Al-Waleedi hailed the efforts of the local authority, mainly the province's governor, in addition to external supporters, including King Salman Center and the Emirati Red Crescent.
