The Chief of Staff of Taiz Axis Major General Abdulaziz al-Majidi discussed Monday with the Deputy Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission in Yemen Johannes Roth ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination in humanitarian fields.

During the meeting, Major General al-Majidi affirmed the Axis command’s commitment to full cooperation with the committee and providing the necessary facilities to enable it to carry out its humanitarian duties in the governorate.

For his part, the Deputy Head of the ICRC mission in Yemen reviewed the areas of support and projects implemented by the organization in Taiz Governorate, particularly in the health sector.

He expressed his appreciation to the Axis leadership for its continued cooperation with the organization, affirming the committee’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian partnership and strengthening cooperation and coordination with relevant authorities in a way that contributes to serving the population and alleviating their suffering.
