Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mukhtar al-Yafei, held talks on Wednesday in the interim capital Aden with the Country Director of Handicap International, Mohammed Takoui, on strengthening partnership and coordination to support programs for persons with disabilities and improve rehabilitation and medical services provided to them.

The meeting reviewed ongoing areas of cooperation between the ministry and the organization, particularly support for rehabilitation and physiotherapy centers, and the enhancement of humanitarian interventions targeting persons with disabilities.

Discussions also covered mechanisms to expand programs to include integrated psychological, social, and health services, contributing to improved quality and sustainability of care.
