The United Kingdom reaffirmed on Tuesday its commitment to supporting the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, and the country's security and stability, in light of recent developments in some eastern governorates.
The British Embassy stated in a post on its X platform that the UK Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, held productive meetings with His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, during which they discussed shared concerns regarding the evolving situation in the governorates of Hadramawt and Al-Mahra.
The embassy said the United Kingdom welcomes all efforts aimed at de-escalation, emphasizing its continued support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the government.
