The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Aidaroos al-Zubaidi said" We're today facing a decisive and historic moment that will determine the fate of the entire region. All of us, both political and military leadership, must sense the spirit of responsibility to eliminate the common enemy represented by the Houthi terrorist militia, and to secure the region from the dangers of Iranian expansion."
He stressed that joint coordination and good planning is imperative for victory. " We've to work jointly, earnestly and diligently to achieve the victory", he said.
He made his statement as he chaired a meeting for the General Staff in the temporary capital Aden, today, Wednesday, along with several bodies and departments of the Ministry of Defense.
The Chief of General Staff (Lt Gen) Sagheer bin Azis presented a briefing about the situation of the armed forces stationed on the frontlines facing the Houthi militias in the northern military areas, the level of discipline and the combating preparedness of the troops along the flashpoints.
Al-Zubaidi emphasized the importance of the continuous training programs to improve the combating skills of the armed forces personnel in order to be well trained and prepared to their job efficiently.
The Commander of the Saudi Task Force 802 Captain Abdulilah al-Zahrani was in attendance.
