Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Sagheer Hamoud bin Aziz held Friday here extensive meeting.
The meeting included heads of departments, directors of sections, and several leaders of fronts, brigades, and military units.
During the meeting, General bin Aziz listened to brief reports on the field and operational situations across various fronts in the provinces of Abyan, Lahij, Dhalea and Taiz, praising the heroics displayed by the armed forces in confronting the terrorist Houthi militias.
The Chief of Staff emphasized the unity of the fronts in different parts of the country against the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, stating that the fighters' steadfastness and belief in their cause is the source of victory in the fields of honor and heroism.
He urged the need to double efforts, enhance performance, and strengthen the skills and expertise of military personnel across various units, while maintaining combat readiness to ensure the achievement of desired objectives.
General bin Aziz also commended the significant efforts and fraternal support provided by the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Command of Joint Forces to assist Yemen and its armed forces in restoring state institutions and achieving security and stability in Yemen and the region.
