The volume of trade between China and Arab countries exceeded 400 billion U.S. dollars in 2024, and China has remained the largest trading partner of Arab countries for many consecutive years.
Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Ren Hongbin said the volume of trade between China and Arab countries rose from 36.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2004 to more than 400 billion U.S. dollars in 2024, a more than 10-fold increase in 20 years.
During the 11th session of the Conference of Chinese and Arab Businessmen and the ninth session of the Investment Symposium within the framework of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, he pointed out that bilateral investment between the two sides includes many fields such as oil and gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, new energy, medical care and digital technology.
