Governors of Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhalea governorates swear-in before President al-Alimi
The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

Al-Sharjabi, WB's team discuss joint cooperation in water sector

The Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq al-Sharjabi discussed today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the World Bank (WB) team currently visiting Yemen, headed by the Regional Director for the Agriculture, Water and Environment Sector for North Africa and the Middle East Miskarim Burhani joint cooperation in the field of water, sanitation and environment.
The discussions focused on the projects funded by the WB in the field of water and sanitation.
Al-Sharjabia cited the projects need to be carried out in the area of water and sanitation.
The WB's official stated that the WB is keen to mobile the needed finances to support the development projects in water sector in Yemen.
