China's private investment funds were worth 19.93 trillion Yuan, equivalent to about 2.8 trillion U.S. dollars, at the end of October.
The China Asset Management Association reported in a statement published by the Chinese News Agency (Xinhua) that equity investment funds accounted for the largest share with a total value of 10.93 trillion Yuan, followed by securities investment funds and project investment funds.
By the end of last month, the total number of private investment funds in the country stood at 147037.
