RIYADH-SABA
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Tariq Saleh met today, Monday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Yemen DO Bong-Kae.

They conferred over the developments relating to the situation in Yemen, bilateral ties and ways to further promote Yemeni-Korean cooperation in different areas.

Tariq Saleh praised S. Korean continuous support for the Yemeni people and its significant contribution to the humanitarian actions that proved helpful to alleviate the Yemenis' suffering due to the war triggered by the terrorist Houthi militias.

Saleh's conversations with Bong-Kae touched upon the bad impacts of the terrorist Houthi militias' attacks on the commercial ships and the subsequent risks that seriously undermine the safety of marine navigation in the Red Sea.

The Korean Ambassador reaffirmed his country's support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government and the UN-led efforts to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis.
