Morocco receives above 13 million tourists in 2024

The Moroccan Ministry of Traditional Industry and Economy announced that Morocco received 13.1 million tourists in the past nine months of 2024, hit record compared to previous years.
The Ministry reported an increase of some two million visitors compared to the same period of last year.
As many as 1.3 million tourists visited Morocco last month, September with an increase of 33 percent compared to the same month last year, the figure of the foreign tourists increased with 40 percent, the Ministry reported.
It is important to note that Morocco ranked the second tourist destination in Africa as Egypt has continued to be the first.
