The Yemeni government has reiterated its call to the international community and the Security Council to provide assistance in finding possible ways to resume oil and gas exports as a crucial step towards achieving stability and economic recovery.

President al-Alimi holds meeting with Taiz Security Committee

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, along with Members of the Council Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Othman Mujalli, held meeting with the Security Committee in Taiz on Wednesday.
The President and members of the Council listened to a briefing from Governor of Taiz and security and military commanders on the situations in the governorate and approved plans to improve performance of the security forces and needed support to improve their roles in keeping public stability and enforcing the role of law.
President al-Alimi praised efforts of the armed forces and security in Taiz and their huge sacrifices in deterring Houthi terrorist militia's attacks and cracking down on their terrorist cells and terrorist elements in line with them.
