The tech giant Google has announced its intent to invest about 9.4 billion Malaysian ringgit (USD two billion) on a new data center and cloud hub in Malaysia.

Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Zafrul Abdul Aziz told the press today the investment will generate 26,500 job opportunities in health care, education and finance fields in Malaysia. He expects the project to create a total economic impact worth USD 3.2 billion.
