His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) restated that support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government, enabling it to restore the state's institutions, retake its crucial seaports and sustain its capacities to enforce security and stability around all Yemeni territories is the best and most effective way to secure international shipping lanes and to get Houthi militias deal seriously with the UN-led efforts based on the outcomes of the good offices of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He made his statement during his conversations today, Monday, with the Charged' Affairs of the embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Yemen Chu Ch'ing.
The discussions dealt with Yemeni-Chinese strong bilateral relations that the two friendly countries are celebrating the 68th anniversary of establishing, further expanding in different fields.
The Chinese diplomat detailed President al-Alimi on China's contribution to humanitarian actions and development drive in our country including institutional support for Foreign Ministry, health and medical aids which are set to arrive tomorrow, Tuesday, in the city of al-Mukalla, in addition food aids in the forthcoming period.
He also confirmed Beijing's willingness to provide necessary support in solar energy domain.
President al-Alim celebrated the very good relationship between the Republic of Yemen and the People's Republic of China, deeply appreciating the Chinese supportive stance in support of the Yemeni people and its political leadership throughout different stages.
The Chairman of the PLC has confirmed the PLC's commitment to the comprehensive peace approach that is based on the agreed on terms of peace references including the UNSCR 2216.
