[10/03/2024 06:12]

ADEN-SABA
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) stressed that Yemen's sovereignty, security, stability and its territorial integrity is a fundamental principle, can't be disputable, no tolerance about it.

In address to the Yemeni people on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan he said" Yemen's sovereignty is a constitutional fundamental principle, the ongoing battle to restore the state's institution and its l control over all Yemeni territories has been a key part of this principle since Houthi militias have carried out its coup against the official government, taken control over significant regions of the country using military force in an Iranian attempt to occupy Yemen, encroach its sovereignty, independence and separate it from its Arab identity.

In this regard His Excellency said" Houthi militias' fake cry about the sovereignty is basically intended to justify their terrorist operations in the Red Sea, it was not a surprise as this is its own approach, it is expected because it has been famous for since its suspicious creation, it is an endeavor to escape its internal obligation, go on messing with our peoples' interests to serve the Iranian expansion scheme in the region.

The President noted that the consequences of these hostile rogue actions have catastrophic impacts upon the Yemeni people and chain of commodity supplies due to the increase of the costs of shipping and insurances that risk leading to famine at large scale, moreover long-standing environmental and economic impacts upon food and national security.

The Chairman of the PLC said" The government has been continuing to operate from inside the country, making tireless efforts to mitigate the implications of the militias' terrorist attacks on the oil facilities that resulted in the cessation of oil exports since 16 months.

The government has worked hard to improve the national currency status, ensure basic services, pay salaries of the employees".

President al-Alimi reiterated the government's commitment to keep on the comprehensive reforms, improve non-oil revenues and carry out development and services programs in different fields.
