MASAM removes 733 Houthis-laid landmines, UXO in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen " MASAM" managed to extract 733 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and once explosives devices in the first week of December 2023.

The Center reported that 4 anti-personnel and 110 anti-tanks landmines, 618 UXO and one explosives devices were removed by MASAM's technical teams from different Yemeni regions.

This brings total landmines and UXOs removed by MASAM since it has started its demining mission in 2018 up to 424 thousand and 527, all planted randomly by Iran-allied Houthi militiamen.
