Local Admin. Minister meets delegation from German embassy's development mission

Minister of Local Administration Hussein Al-Aghbari met today in the temporary capital Aden with a delegation of the development mission of the Federal Embassy of Germany, headed by the Development Advisor of the German Embassy.

In the meeting, Al-Aghbari praised the efforts made by the German side and the German Development Agency in development and economic interventions aimed at implementing sustainable programs and projects in all sectors and at the level of local authorities in the Yemeni governorates.

He stressed the government’s keenness to enhance the prospects for cooperation and joint coordination with the German side, and the ministry’s readiness to overcome all scourges. The difficulties faced by UN and international organizations and donors in implementing development and service projects aimed at supporting the infrastructure of local authorities.
