Yemen, China discuss 2019- road cooperation

Yemen's Ambassador to China Dr. Mohammad al-Maitami discussed Wednesday with Deputy Director of International Department for the National Committee for Development and Reform Chaw Jian mutual cooperation between the two countries, especially activating Belt Initiative and the Road Yemen joined in 2019.

Al-Maitami informed the Chinese official on the latest development in Yemen and efforts exerted by the political leadership and the government to realize peace and regaining security and stability across Yemen.

He praised China's firm position towards Yemen and its legal leadership and support to peace efforts in Yemen.

For his part, the Chinese official confirmed his country's position towards Yemen, its unity, security and stability and China's support for realizing peace in Yemen.

He uttered readiness of China to work on more improvement of relations with Yemen.
