Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Aridhah, discussed today with the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Ghada Waly, strengthening the partnership between Yemen and the Office to face current challenges and support the rule of law, ways to strengthen partnership and expand the areas of support provided by the organization to Yemen.
In the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the meetings of the Committee on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in the capital, Vienna, the minister reviewed what has been accomplished by the ministry by forming a committee to raise awareness of the rule of law and a committee to review the legal and legislative framework for combating terrorism, and to help build capacity for members of the prosecution and judges.
