The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

FM hands over Mauritanian President letter from President al-Alimi

Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak handed over Tuesday President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Ghazouani a letter from the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi.
The letter deals with mutual relations between the two countries and means of enhancing and improving them.
Receiving him at the Presidential Palace here, President Ghazouani asked Minister BinMubarak to convey his best wishes to President al-Alimi and members of the Presidential Council, confirming firm support of Mauritania to the Presidential Leadership Council, to the government of Yemen and to Yemeni people to realize their aspirations in regaining security and stability.
President Ghazouani praised deep-rooted relations between Yemen and Mauritania, pointing out to significance of enhancing and elaborating cooperation for serving interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
BinMubarak informed Mauritanian President on the latest developments in Yemen.
