Deputy Governor of Marib Ali al-Fatemi discussed Thursday with Senior Advisor in World Health Organization's Communications Office in Aden Keven Kook means of enhancing health and other humanitarian support in Marib.
During the meeting, which included Director of Health Office in Marib Abdulaziz al-Shaddadi and coordinator of WHO's Projects Ali Saria, the convening parties reviewed health sector's needs to support training and qualifying domains in addition to social awareness, health edification, promoting vaccination services and improving health and curative services in the province.
Al-Fatemi praised significance of the organization's interventions, hoping increase support and interventions as big and supported organization and to help cover huge humanitarian needs in the province, which receives big numbers of displaced people.
For his part, the WHO's official confirmed that the organization will work on coordination with donors to mobilize possible resources to increase support to health sector in Marib to improve its services and abilities.
