The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Interior minister discusses with IOM support to passports authority

Minister of Interior General Lieutenant Ibrahim Haidan discussed Wednesday with the team of the International Organization for Migration led by Firas Bedairi support to the Authority of Migration, Passports and Citizenship.
The two parties discussed also support of the organization to border outlets provided by US Department of State through IOM, which includes electronic visa.
The meeting touched upon measures of implementing the project during the period September 2021 until March 2023 and defining communication officers with the organization.
Interior minister praised efforts of the organization in Yemen, pointing out to that the project will help providing time and effort to accomplish desirable works and easing dealing between the passport's authority and its branches inside and outside Yemen.
