Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

Govt's team flying to Geneva tomorrow to discuss prisoner- exchange deal

Under Secretary of Human Rights Ministry Majed Fadhael announced that the Yemeni government's team charged with negotiating the prisoner-exchange deal with Houthi militia is going to fly tomorrow to Geneva to discuss the implementation of the prisoner-exchange deal under Stockholm Agreement.

Fadhael who is a member of the government negotiator team told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the meeting of the supervisory committees which scheduled to be held in Geneva is intended to discuss the implementation of the prisoner-exchange deal in accordance with Stockholm Agreement.

He added that the planned meeting aims to explore mechanism to release all detainees based on the principle of all for all.

It is important to note that a deal reached in the third round of the negotiations in Jordon stated that 1420 prisoners shall be released as first phase, followed by others until all detainees are set free.
