The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik said the ongoing battle has been fought by national military troops and tribesmen freedom fighters backed by Saudi-led Coalition in support of legality against Houthi rebels is approaching to crossroad, our Yemeni people along with our Arab nation are going through the most critical moments of our struggle with Iran's spoiler scheme and its proxy tools in Yemen.

His statement during phone calls he conducted Wednesday with the Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohammed al-Maqdashi, General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Sagheer bin Aziz and Commander of the Third Military Region Maj. General Mohammed al-Hobeishi.

He stated that our battles against Iran-allied Houthi militia's coup has come to a pretty-pass." Joining efforts and ranks have become imperative, national interest must be first, threre is no room now for narrow-minded calculations", said Ma'een.
