Water ministry, SDF discuss coordination for implementing projects

Acting Minister of Water and Environment Engineer Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi has confirmed significance of coordination between the ministry and Social Development Fund (SDF) for implementing programs and projects in fields of water and urban cities across Yemen.

In his meeting with Deputy Director of the SDF Engineer Wesam Qasem and a number of officials from the ministry and the fund here on Saturday, the meeting parties discussed joint projects.

Al-Sharjabi valued efforts exerted by the fund in field of water, confirming that the ministry will alleviate all difficulties the fund faces and will also monitor its projects.

The ministry and the fund agreed on holding workshop on February this year for discussing joint plans and programs in liberated provinces for defining priorities and making joint action plan 2020-2023.
