Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik discussed Sunday with members of the Parliament Committee Entrusted with Flood Damages mechanism of tackling effects of lower atmosphere on infrastructure and health and agricultural sectors in Aden, Abyan and Lahj.
The meeting touched upon challenges and lack of capabilities in a number of sectors for facing catastrophes and setting up visions and suggestions to be supported by donors for activating performance of concerned bodies for carrying out their responsibilities as demanded and taking measures for dealing with rainwater and spread diseases.
The meeting stressed significance of integrating all efforts for facing flood damages and tackling people's issues through adopting and carrying out long-term solutions, continuing efforts of opening drain water channels, opening roads and resuming stopped projects.
Prime Minister stressed promoting administrative work of relevant bodies for protecting capabilities and protecting infrastructure, services and agricultural products.
