Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik received on Thursday US Ambassador to Yemen Christopher Henzel
Ma'een welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador, wishing him all the best in his mission, highly appreciating the American administration's supportive stances in supporting legality in Yemen and the efforts aiming to establish peace.
The latest developments in the Yemeni national arena, UN's efforts to implement Stockholm Agreement, Yemeni-American cooperation and partnership were key focus of Ma'een conversations with Henzel.
The Prime Minister briefed the American Ambassador on the government's efforts and action-plans to manage economic hardships, reinstate basic services and allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
The US diplomat reiterated the American administration's support for the government's objectives and efforts. He also affirmed his country's support for the UN's efforts to make peace in Yemen.
