Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to Spain Nabeel Maysari lectured on Monday the students of politics at Complutense University in Madrid.

He provided a detailed presentation about the situations in Yemen and the challenges the Yemeni peoples have been struggling with since Iran-backed Houthi rebels carried out a coup in the fall of 2014.

The Ambassador pointed out to Yemen's strategic location, Red Sea importance for international maritime navigation; citing the existential threat that Houthi rebels pose to Yemen's security and the entire region.

Maysari stated that the Yemeni government is very interested in making peace and re-building what the war has devastated.
