Ba-Abood, Chinese Ambassador discuss relief, development projects

Deputy Minister of Local Administration—Member of High Relief Committee—Abdulsalam Ba-Abood met Monday with Ambassador of People's Republic of China to Yemen Kang Yong.

Ba-Abood's conversations with Kang focused on cooperation in carrying out relief and developmental projects in our country.
Ba-Abood explored Chinese contribution to establishing income-generate enterprises and sustainable development projects which are urgently needed in the government-held governorates and regions to speed up the development drive.

The Deputy Minister voiced deep appreciation for China's substantial support for the legitimate Yemeni leadership and people in different fields.

The Chinese diplomat underscored the importance of boosting Yemeni-Chinese economic partnership, pointing out to Yemen's geographical location.

Mr Yong reiterated his country's support for the legitimate government , Yemeni people and political process to achieve comprehensive peace based on the three terms of reference.
