The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh followed on the developments in Sana'a in a meeting with the Minister of State, the mayor of the capital city Abdul GhaniJamil here on Wednesday.
The meeting touched upon the progress of the liberation efforts which aim to ride the Yemeni people from their continuous suffering the Houthi militia's control.
The vice president praised the perseverance of the people of the capital city in the face of the militia.
Separately, the Vice President also checked on the health of the governor of Lahj Ahmed al-Turki and the rector of the Military Academy Abdulkarim al-Zowmahi who are receiving treatment in one of the hospitals of Riyadh for their injuries sustained in the recent Houthi militia's drone attack on a military parade in al-Anad airbase.
