Vice President Ali Mohsen Salehhas emphasized the importance of the role the official media plays in spreading the culture of peace and coexistence and supporting the efforts of the state in establishing security and stability.

In a meeting with the Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani on Tuesday, the Vice President was briefed on the current situation of the official media and its role in conveying the voice of the Yemeni people and the facts of what is going on in Yemen to the outside world.

The Information Minister pointed to the efforts being taken to promote the media expressing his appreciations for the Vice President for his interest in improving the performance of the media.
