Mahra Governor calls on UN organizations to convey their suffering to the world

Governor of MahraRajehba-Kerait has called representatives of the international organizations in Yemen to make data on damages left by the tropical storm Luban in Mahra Province and hand them over to their organizations to convey them to the world for providing help and support to the people.

In his meeting with representatives of Food and Agricultural Organization, the World Health Organizations, the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the UN Development Program on Tuesday at the Republican Palace in Ghaitha, the governor discussed with them the humanitarian situation and damages in the province, urging them to make field surveys on huge losses left by the storm in the province.

He made it clear that the local authority in Mahra hopes more support from UN organizations for alleviating humanitarian suffering.
