A number of senior operatives of the Houthi rebel militia were killed by the army in Marran,the stronghold of Houthis in the northern province of Saadah.
The Defense Ministry's website "26 September" reported that Ali Hussein Badheli, Jaber Abu Lahiy, Yahya Oqbi and Ali Khaloofah were killed in clashes with the army on Friday. The four are all field rebel commanders and supervisors. Badheli is a close aid to the rebel leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
