" New Delhi Declaration" reiterates commitment to Yemen's unity, territorial integrity
The second meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India and the Arab countries restated its firm commitment to the unity of the Republic of Yemen, its sovereignty, independence and the integrity of its territory, affirming its outright rejection of any interference in its internal affairs, condemning all actions aimed at undermining Yemen's security or affecting its territorial unity.

Yemen, India discus visa problems

NEW DELHI
Yemen's Ambassador to New Delhi Abdulmalik Al-Iryani met Friday with Assistant Undersecretary of Indian Foreign Ministry for Arabian Peninsula and Gulf Dr Ti Najar Barassad.

Al-Iryani's talks with the Indian official focused on the Yemeni nationals complaints about the Indian visa procedures that take long time. Yemenis who want to travel to India have been complaining about the slow-processing of visa requests in the temporary headquarters of Indian embassy in Djibouti.

" Visa seekers have to wait long for it and most of them are patients in very critical conditions", said Al-Iryani.

The Indian official explained that there was a problem occurred in their embassy temporary headquarters in Djibouti resulted in delaying visa issuing. He stated that they are handling the problem and working on creating appropriate mechanism to speed up visa issuing.

The Ambassador expressed Yemeni Government's appreciation of Cholera vaccines shipment provided by the Indian Government to Yemen.

He also touched upon the developments in Yemen, affirming that the Yemeni Government is supporting the UN envoy's efforts aiming to resume peace process and it is willing to participate in any political consultation the UN calls for.

The Indian official stated that his country is in favor of peaceful solution to the Yemeni crisis and put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
