The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms documented 958 crimes and violations committed by the Iran-backed Houthi militia from September 3 to 11 in six districts along the western coast of Hodeidah and Taiz governorates.

Yemen’s Ambassador to the European Union Mohammed Taha Mustafa discussed the latest developments in Yemen and the Houthi militia’s military escalation along the western coast with Helene Le Gal, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Division at the European External Action Service.
Mustafa warned of the escalation’s impact on Yemen, regional security and international navigation, saying it serves Iran-backed plans to destabilize maritime security and threaten global supply chains.
Le Gal reaffirmed EU support for the Yemeni government and condemned Houthi attacks on civilians and freedom of navigation, calling for their immediate halt.
