[08/08/2018 02:51]

BERLIN-SABA
Yemen's Ambassador to Berlin Dr Yahya Al-Shoaibi met Wednesday with Regional Director for Middle East and North Africa in the German Foreign Ministry Christian Buck.

Dr Al-Shoaibi asserted that it is very important for the International Community to send firm message to the Houthi putschist militia that it should carry out the International Security Council resolution 2216 as the only single way to achieve a sustainable peace in Yemen. He cited the crime the Houthi committed in Al-Thawrah Hospital and the Fish market in Hodeidah's city as an example of the militia's atrocities.

The Ambassador stated that any forthcoming consultations should be based on the terms of references. He confirmed that the legitimate government has been very keen on realizing peace and engaging all Yemeni political constituencies in order to ensure sustainable peace.

The German official voiced his country's position in supporting the Yemeni government and its efforts aiming to achieve peace.
