Indian medical aid to Yemen launched

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. NaserBa'om, along with Deputy Minister for Health Care Sector Dr. Ali al-Walidi and Coordinator of the Supreme Relief Committee Jamal Balfaqih, launched on Tuesday medicines grant provided by Indian Republic to Yemeni people.

"These medical aid and assistances provided by Indian friends touched upon needs of citizens who suffer difficult conditions over the war waged by Houthi rebel militia," said Ba'om.

He added that those aid will be sent to provinces of Abya, Baidha' and Sana'a, thanking the Republic of India for their help to Yemeni people in these exceptional conditions.

The minister of health demanded the international organizations – led by World Health Organization- to provide medical aid to all Yemeni provinces including those under Houthis.
