Aspects of Yemeni-Pakistani bilateral ties and cooperation were key focus of Al-Ashbi's talks with Ahmed.
The ambassador briefed the Pakistani official on the latest developments in Yemen including ongoing military operation to recapture Hodeidah city. He also touched upon serious violations committed by Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia against civilians including planting individual land-mines, child recuritement and firing ballistic missiles at Yemeni cities and neighboring countries.
The Pakistani official reiterated his country's support to the legitimate Yemeni Government and people as well as peace good offices.
