The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Paris Humanitarian Conference on Yemen convened, no pledges made

Paris Humanitarian Conference on Yemen held Wednesday with low-profile participation. Minister of Human Rights Mohammed Asker contributed to the gathering discussions.

The gathering suggested by French President Emanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Prince Mohammed bin Salman during the later 's trip to Paris in April.

The event's discussions focused on humanitarian situation, relief actions and protection of civilians in the framework of the UN Response Plan and Arab Coalition's Comprehensive Plan in Republic of Yemen.

Asker presented a detailed explanation about human rights situation in our country and the Government's efforts aimed to protect human rights and address humanitarian crisis caused by Houth putschist militia's coup and war.

The Minister cited grave violations of human rights that Houthi militia has been committing on the daily basis against the Yemeni people in the militia's controlled regions.

Asker also briefed the audience on the Yemeni Government's proposals aimed to keep Hodeidah seaport out of the conflict but the Iran-allied rebellious militia rejected.

The conveners have reiterated their support to the legitimate Yemeni Government, however, no aid pledges were made.
