Spokesman for the Coalition Forces, Major General Turki al-Maliki, affirmed that the Houthi terrorist militia continues its deliberate and criminal attacks against civilian objects and civilians in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), al-Maliki said the militia’s continued and repeated attacks demonstrate its extremist ideology and its deliberate approach of escalating tensions and targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.

He said that on Monday, September 14, 2026, the militia carried out attacks against civilian objects in the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif using ballistic missiles and drones, injuring 13 civilians with minor to moderate injuries and damaging seven residential houses and two vehicles.

Al-Maliki stressed that the Coalition Joint Forces Command would deal with these attacks responsibly and decisively to protect Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, civilians and civilian objects, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, the principle of self-defense, international humanitarian law and customary rules of international law.

He added that the Coalition Joint Forces Command would take all necessary operational measures to deter the terrorist militia and counter its hostile and extremist approach.
