The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani was in attendance.

KSrellief sings treaties worth USD 5.3 million

King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Activities (KSrelief) has announced on signing four treaties worth USD 5.3 million to be used for providing humanitarian assistances to Yemen.

The General Sponsor of the center Dr. Abdullah al-Rabi'a singed on Monday four treaties for cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), UN Food and Agriculture Organization or FAO and The Coalition of Humanitarian Relief (CHR) for providing humanitarian assistances to Yemen.

The first treaty signed with charitable alliance aimed at improving living conditions in provinces of Hadhramout, Shabwa, Aden, Lahj and Jawf via supporting agricultural sector, taking care of working women, enabling youth and moving local markets.

The second agreement singed also with CHR and aimed at enabling needy families of orphans to depend on themselves, creating sustainable work opportunities and fixed income in provinces of Hadhramout, Shabwa and Aden.

The third agreement signed with FAO worth USD 2 million assigned for complete response in fields of agriculture, food security and helping poor people in province of Hodeida and Abyan.

The forth treaty signed with IOM aimed at reintegrating displaced students in hosting societies in Lahj worth one USD million to be benefited by 3,468 students via improving work opportunities.

Dr. al-Rabi'a expressed pleasure of cooperation with FAO, IOM and the CHR.
