VP urges a united stance by political parties toward national interests

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh has underscored the importance role of the political parties in defending the national interests of the country, urging a united position and action by the political constituencies against the Houthi militia's coup d'état.

(Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen applauded the political parties that act responsibly and align with legitimate leadership and government, citing the Nassirate Unionist Party's (NUP) stance as an example of the constructive reaction to Houthi militia coup

Mohssen statement came during his meeting Wednesday with the leader of the NUP Abdullah No'man and Sultan Al-Atwwani, adviser of the President of the Republic, and leading Nassirate political figure.

The Vice President's conversations with the Nassirate leaders touched upon the latest developments in the national arena and underway efforts aiming to restore the State's institutions and go on building the Federal Yemen

The Nassirate leaders reiterated the NUP's principled stance in supporting the legitimate government and restoring legality.
