Yemen's ambassador to Malaysia Dr Adel Ba-Homaid said that Yemeni government welcome all forms of humanitarian and relief aids to help Yemeni people in need who have been badly affected due to devastating consequences of the war has been waged by Houthi putschists against Yemeni peoples.
Addressing the Fourth Meeting of (1000) personalities, descendants from Yemeni and Hudrami ancestors in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and East Timor held in city of Johor, south of Malaysia, the ambassador stated that legal government has been very keen to re-establish peace and cooperate with all regional and international parties in order to bring about peaceful solution to the conflict, but the rebellious militia don't want to come to peace.
Ba-Homaid called on all governmental, private-owned organizations and individuals in these countries to contribute toward organizing relieving campaigns to help alleviating Yemeni people's suffering.
Secretary General of Malaysian Industrial and Commerce Chambers, Chairman of Charitable Society in the federal province and the Malaysian Selangor province Hussein Al-Hibshi gave a word in which he expressed the Malaysian peoples' sympathy with Yemeni people. He also advised the individuals of Yemeni ancestors to contribute to the relief programs and re-construction plans in Yemen.
The representatives of Arab Unity Society in Singapore Khalid Ba-Shraheel and Chairman of Alaweet League in Indonesia Al-Habeeb Zain bin Somait highlighted the importance of providing Yemeni people with aid and assistance at this critical stage.
The attendees agreed on joint coordination between all parties in mobilizing relief campaigns and programs
