Ambassadors and Military Attachés of the countries of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition held on Wednesday their second meeting in Riyadh. Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Yemen Mohammad Al Jaber chaired the meeting.
The meeting discussed latest developments in Yemen and recent rocket attack fired by Houthis on KhamisMusheit, south of Saudi Arabia.
The convening diplomats discussed also the killingof former President Ali Abdullah Saleh by Houhthi militia in Sana'a and their continuous threat on political leaders and targeting leaders of General People Congress led by the Head of the Political NegotiationsAref al-Zouka.
The diplomats concluded that all these incidents confirm these terrorist militias have no will of achieving peace in Yemen.
The meeting dealt with the threat of Houthis on security and safety of the Yemeni people by using houses and citizens as human shields, destroying houses and headquarters of their rivals by mortars and tanks, arresting political rivals and media men and the continuation of Iranian role in their plots threatening security and stability of the kingdom and countries of the region.
The parties agreed on continuous coordination between the countries of the coalition in all humanitarian, political and military activities to ensure implementation of the coalition's objectives to enable the government of Yemen to impose its authority across Yemeni soil.
They also agreed on joint political and information plan for the coalition to face Iranian agenda in the region and supporting Yemeni people's rejection of Houthi militias and Iranian interference in the region.
