Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr re-launched Tuesday the Military Academy and Qualifying Leader Institute here after maintenance to receive new affiliates on September.
Bin-Daghr delivered a speech in the ceremony in which he confirmed that re-opening the academy was based on a presidential decree.
"We share you this inauguration for relocating the Military Academy in Aden and reconsidering the national army in Aden and the rest of the governorates and reconsidering of the military forces affiliates, who fight for dignity, honesty and public interests we agreed upon and for defending the revolution, the republic and the unity, not the unity of 1990 but the unity which we agreed on in its federal form," said bin-Daghr.
He added that this academy is the factory of men and the station for future leadership, we cannot build an army only after reconsidering the national army and the military and security institutions and working on training them.
He noted that the former army has collapsed for it was not based on correct foundations and its loyalty was not for the homeland and military units, which were built on regional foundation, overthrew on the people and the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference.
He valued the leadership of the Arab Coalition for their support and defending the national project and thanked Arab and Islamic nations for supporting " our Issue," singling out King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Head of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed and Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed.
For his part, the Commander of the Arab Coalition Ahmad Abu Majed congratulated the opening of the academy as a first step will be followed by others, confirming their efforts for providing support, training and improving institutions.
The Commander of the Military Academy Abdulkarim al-Rawmahi informed Prime Minister on preparations and equipment made by the military academy to resume work and learning.
For his part, the Vice of General Staff Saleh al-Zandani valued efforts of the President and Prime Minister in following up building the military forces, noting that the opening of the academy coincides victories for the military forces against the evil alliance of Houthi-Saleh.
