Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh, met with Jordan's Minister of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badour, to discuss strengthening health cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 8th Conference of Health Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Amman, focused on developing a bilateral health cooperation protocol to increase medical grants for Yemeni patients and expand training opportunities for Yemeni doctors in Jordanian hospitals.
Both ministers also explored ways to enhance medical tourism, simplify procedures for receiving Yemeni patients in Jordanian hospitals, and future cooperation in capacity building, medical expertise exchange, and expanding bilateral and regional cooperation in public health and joint programs.
