Yemen Ambassador to Japan, Adel Al-Sunaini, met with Japan's Ambassador for Human Rights and International Peace and Stability Tsutsumi Naohiro, in Tokyo today.
Ambassador Al-Sunaini briefed Envoy Naohiro on Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council and government's positive engagement with sustainable peace initiatives and UN efforts to revive political process based on agreed national, regional, and international references.
He praised Japan's consistent support for Yemen's peace endeavors, Presidential Leadership Council, and government, as well as Japan's backing of Yemen's aspirations to restore state institutions.
