The Minister of Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari underscored the importance of the sustainability of the development and economic programs carried out by the UNDP and the UN's agencies in Yemen for the administrative units.
He voiced his remark during his contribution today, Tuesday, in Amman, Jordan, to high-level discussions of the representatives of the UNDP and the delegation of the EU in Yemen, some of the donors partners and senior officials of the Local Authorities in the governorates of Aden, Hadramout, Lahj, Taiz and Marib.
The discussions aimed to review the project of Supporting Institutional, Economic Resilience in Yemen (SIERY).
The Ambassador of the EU in Yemen Gabriel Vinals has confirmed the EU's support for the Yemeni government's efforts to carry out development programs and the administrative reforms.
