The Charge'd Affairs of the embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Jakarta, Indonesia, Mohammed al-Najar discussed today, Friday, with the Director of the Middle East at the Indonesian Foreign Ministry Ambassador Ahrwal Fatah al-Rahman bilateral relations between the two countries.
They also discussed the arrangements for reviving the meetings of the Joint Yemeni-Indonesian Committee and reviewing the agreements that were signed between the two countries during the Committee's previous meetings.
The two sides conferred over working out proposals for new agreements, mainly in the consulates fields.
Al-Najar expressed gratitude to Indonesia for its willingness to contribute to the relief and humanitarian actions in Yemen to support the Yemeni government's efforts to deal with the damages caused by the torrential rains and floods which hit several Yemeni governorates.
The Indonesian official reiterated his country's support for the UN-led efforts to establish peace and stability in Yemen.
